I’m Gonna Be 30 in one week. That’s weird to say…. “I’m gonna be 30.”
I remember when I was a teenager telling my mom that my 30th birthday party was gonna be an 80′s party and A-Ha was goin to play it. Well part of that is true, unfortunately I am not able to get A-Ha to play. A few weeks ago I was NOT looking forward to turning 30. I was literally going to lock my door to my room and just stay in all day and night, and with me not having a personal Facebook page anymore, most people don’t remember when my birthday is so that would have taken care of anyone trying to bother me on that day. Then I was thinking of going camping for my 30th. Me and a few friends out in the wilderness enjoying each others company, but because my birthday falls on a Monday this year, I figured it would be to difficult getting anyone to commit to it. Then something happened. I went and saw Project X with my best pal Bryan. It wasn’t an award winning movie or anything but it was A LOT OF FUN! The movie inspired me to enjoy turning 30 with all the people in my life, the way I envisioned it when I was younger… throwing the best 80′s party with all my friends, dressing up 80′s, dancing to 80′s music and just having a blast… a blast from the past! So GOD DAMN IT!! That’s what I’m doing! So I hope you all decide to come and enjoy it with me…. This Sunday March 18th. Come dressed Totally RAD 80′s and ring in the end of the 1st act and the beginning of my 2nd in my 3 act life.
